Tournaments & The Water Crisis.
"Sheppard Air Force Base" believes this water crisis could potentially be ended by simple tournaments that will be held each weekend to raise these funds. We only hope to spread and implement this cause within other bases and student bodies so we may have a joint contribution.
Together We will
Act as One and like this We
Will soon be as One
We must realize where we stand as a nation in this world and how we would like to see our world in the future. If we come together now and push for this cause we are not only creating ripples in the world's effect but potentially creating waves that will come crashing down spreading change by the simple acts of Us Airmen. Come support our cause and let's unite as many as possible to see how We can be as one.
Our first acts will be towards supplying water to those who by no means should be without the water that we are so privileged to have. We will not stand idle aware of crisis that could be ended by all of us together. We live in a world today that isn't like any other day in age, it is going to be our generation that solves our world problems through participation. Understand that together a little effort will push us to new heights and with all our minds and hearts, to new places yet experienced. We can not think and act only for ourselves but for our neighbors in need of what's easily provided.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
