As part of my second year project for the Master's program in Spiritual Psychology, which I attend at the University of Santa Monica, I intend to bring water to the thirsty in Africa. I would like to fund the creation of at least one well and as many wells as possible. I am pledging to walk to and from my June 2011 USM class (100+ miles), as part of my commitment and I intend to travel to see the well(s) we fund in the village(s) they serve. I also intend to raise additional funds in support of the Anaheim Hills Rotary Club, to help service the needs of our local community (I sit on the Board of Directors as the Community Services Chair). Donations to both organizations are tax deductible. You may make your donation to my Africa Water Project via credit card, through the link on this page, or by sending me a check made payable to "The Water Project", with "Orin Abrams" in the memo line. You may make your donation to the Anaheim Hills Rotary Club by sending me a check made payable to "Anaheim Hills Rotary", with "Orin Abrams" in the memo line. To see how our club is helping our community, please go to www.anaheimhillsrotary.org. I will be updating my progress with pictures and additional information.

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
