Can you imagine not being able to fill up a glass of clean water from the tap? I can't. Can you imagine not being able to run a lovely clean bubble bath for your kids each evening? I can't. Can you imagine not being able to cool off in the pool or under the sprinkler in Summer? I can't.There are many people out there without this privilege, and heck, I'm just not okay with that. I want these people to have clean water. People in areas such as South Sedan, Rwanda, Uganda and Sierra Leone are waiting. What are you waiting for? Let's do this :) $23 provides water for one person for a year. $115 provides water for a family for a year. After being inspired by two rad young girls Indi and Mikayla, I will be giving up all things sweet drinks for two weeks from Monday 8th of December and only drinking water- and boy am I a sucker for sweet drinks! But it certainly won't kill me, unlike the water that these adults- mainly women, and children spend hours upon hours walking miles collecting from ponds and streams filled with diseases making them very sick. So please join with me and "The Water Project" When you donate, and I really hope you do, which you can either do by doing it here online or by giving me cash which I will be most certainly adding to the total, please make sure you include the name 'Samantha Edwards's Fundraising Page' that way your donation adds to my goal. Please and thank you lovely people x
|Go for it!!!

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
