The Water Project - Process
A Partnership
The Sharing Way works with the philosophy of the rolling wheel. Community members are expected to start the wheel rolling with their own labour and financial contributions. The Sharing Way's technical and financial assistance helps to make the (development) wheel move faster. However, we hold the community members responsible for their progress at all times rather than acting as a service provider to the community. This means that the community is empowered to take direct responsibility for their own development. These initiatives will provide access to clean water and relieve water scarcity.
