The Water Project - Sample Building Process

Here's one example of how a water project is orgainzed from initial community involvement through it's onstruction.

A Partnership

Water tank dedicationThe Sharing Way, one of our implementing partners, works with the philosophy of the rolling wheel. Community members are expected to start the wheel rolling with their own labor and financial contributions. The Sharing Way's technical and financial assistance helps to make the development wheel move faster.

In this process the community members are responsible for their progress at all times rather than us or our partner simply providing a free service. The community is empowered to take direct responsibility for their own development.
