On 10 March a fire destroyed the so-called SBG-2 building in the OVH data center in Strasbourg and burned down many server racks in our SBG-1 building. Water and luck saved our servers, our data, our work. We're full of gratitude. So instead of just remembering the importance of backups, we created The Burning Cloud a transformative event to make safe water accessible to those who are not lucky enough to have it for their daily needs.
Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. We can change that. Providing a reliable and safe water source will unlock potential by returning time for study, work, and imagination.
