I hope you'll consider joining me to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.
Water is a resource that we take for granted every day. Yet people suffering in third world countries like Africa are unable to acquire clean water. Children are unable to receive education due to being forced to travel miles to get access to water that is not even safe to drink.
By taking the water challenge, you will be able to make a difference in the lives of those who are unable to get safe drinking water. For just one week, drinking nothing but water is estimated by the water project to save about $23 dollars, enough to provide clean water for one person. By simply experiencing one week of drinking nothing but water, you can truly realize the blessing of having available drinking water and give that experience to someone in Africa. The donation is out of pocket and will be used for a well project in Africa, so all of the funds you donate will be made from the money saved while only drinking water.
Far too many are suffering from the the lack of such a widespread, natural resource. I believe that there is no reason why to not provide them with the same privilege we have if we are able. You and I can make a change. Please, make a donation and then help fight against the drought so many are suffering.
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
