This news prompted me to search for just how bad things are, and how blinded are we really as a society to the way other people suffer. How much goes on that we don't give a second thought to? Just how heartless can we be caring only for ourselves and our lives? I think it's time to break out of our comfort zones, and love others instead of judging them.
People need water to live.
How different would your life be if you had no running water or access to a toilet? How different might your heart be? How hopeless and defeated could you possibly feel struggling just to survive? Would you do whatever it took to survive?
Dig deeper. Do you have what it takes to influence a life? Take some pain and hurt away from someone?
You actually do. Giving water literally has the power to change a person's life. You genuinely hold power to help someone.
