In celebration of Odarkor Lamptey’s life, we hope that you join us to fund a water well project that will provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Kenya.
Odarkor, known to many friends as Coco, led an extraordinary life. Anyone who knew Odarkor knew that she was a kind, loving, warm and wonderful woman. She was always a source of positivity for her many family members and friends.
Odarkor will be remembered for the incredible patience, encouragement, love and support she gave to relatives, friends, colleagues and strangers alike. She had an unmatched zeal for life and was an avid traveler who loved learning about other cultures, visiting nearly 40 countries. Odarkor received one of RBC's prestigious Global Citizen Awards for employees who embody RBC’s values every day to help their communities prosper. It included a trip to Kenya where her experience, as quoted by her Mother, "was one of the most impactful experiences of her life" and something that inspired her to continue giving back to communities across the world.
This well building project will honor Odarkor's legacy and ensure that her positive impact on the world continues. Upon conclusion of the project, Odarkor’s family will be recognized as part of the celebration.
