Many of us fortunate people have never thought about not having water to drink. The thing that runs through our house everyday, the thing we drink, take a bath, use to wash our hands and flush the toilet. Not many people are as lucky as us, and have all the water we have to waste. Almost 780 million people lack access to water in the world. That is almost 10-11% of the whole population! Have you ever thought about that? Imagine having to walk 3 hours in the humid sun just to get some water to survive. Furthermore, the water isn't even clean enough to drink! Let alone taking a shower and washing your hands, their is no way they could get enough water for that. Many fortunate people around the world don't realise how privileged they are just to have clean water to drink everyday. Just think about it, 1/10 of the other people of the world don't. We, who are privileged, have to make a difference. This is Christina and Christine, and we're doing this for a school project. Our goal is to raise awareness and raise money and let people realise how important water is.
