I've always wanted to do something good, to make a change and help create a shift in the lives of those less fortunate than my very fortunate self! But like so many others I feel daunted about doing it alone. Today I woke up inspired to make this change and I knew exactly the way I wanted to do it. I'm very excited to share this campaign with you.
Just $23 each (R230 for everyone in SA). 100 different people (we all know at least 5 people who can afford this amount of money). $2300 (or more) towards changing the lives of those living without clean, safe, water (something I know I take very for granted). This is my personal nomination towards #ChangeOneThing. For every pint of beer downed in a #NekNomination, I challenge anyone doing the nomination/anyone related to the person nominated, to donate towards a pint of water for The Water Project. Let's take a stand and spin this into something positive. (P.S. I'm using this page because I'm awful at speaking on camera...but please share this page & support this cause. It's the first time I've ever run a fund-raiser campaign and I'm super excited to be a link in the chain of change.) Thank You! xxDate | Donor | Amount | Message |

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
