Help Fund a Water Project
I believe in loving out loud, in giving with everything I've got and in paying it forward. I believe in making an effort towards small changes in the hope of a greater shift in the lives of those less fortunate than my very fortunate self! But like so many others I feel daunted about doing it alone. This time last year, I woke up inspired to make one small change and I knew exactly the way I wanted to do it. We made a small contribution to a very big project and I'm really excited to share this campaign with you again this year, with a similar goal but with a new little twist.
I've set the goal this year at $2000. I would love to encourage anyone who believes in this project to pay forward just $10 each (R100 for everyone in SA). All it will take is 200 different people (we all know at least 10 people who can afford this amount). $2000 (or more) towards changing the lives of those living without clean, safe, water (something I know I take very for granted). This was my personal nomination towards #ChangeOneThing last year as part of the #NekNominations and this year it will form part of my approach to #RAK15 (Random Acts of Kindness). Because this year is a little different, I won't be nominating anyone directly (you are welcome to donate anything in addition) but instead, I will personally be donating an additional $10 for every shoot booked with Christine W Photography (www.christinewphotography.com) this year in the names of each of my clients. Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
