Help Fund a Water Project
For our end of the year 5th grade project we were asked to create our own Genius Hour inspired by Google. For my project, I have chosen to have a bake sale and lemonade stand to raise money for The Water Project. The Water Project provides access to clean, safe and reliable water across sub-Saharan Africa. My bake sale and lemonade stand will be held on Sunday May 8th and Monday May 9th from 3-5 pm at 1 W Citation Ln. If you are unable to stop by and purchase some goodies, please consider donating to my cause - even $1 will help. Thank you for your support!

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
