Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

For Cora's first four birthday parties, we asked that - in lieu of gifts - you give in her honor to The Water Project. Over the past 4 Decembers Cora's extended family has raised $2441.91 (to be exact) to help other families we will never know have better and easier access to clean water.

This year Cora expressed the desire on her own to continue giving to The Water Project, rather than receiving an abundance of presents. She has talked about it more than we have. So we will go this birthday route once again, and keep doing it until she says otherwise. Thanks for helping us raise a compassionately aware little girl, who's growing up so fast, so beautifully.

At Cora’s birthday party, you can place gift money in the offering basket if you so choose.

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
