Scan with Camera App to DonateHey guys, thanks a ton for taking the time to check my page out! As you read this letter, my prayer is that you would keep your heart + mind open to what God is doing through this ministry, and that you would consider joining in my effort to build a water well.
So as crazy as this sounds, this project started when I was taking the recycling out one night. As I was looking down into the bin I saw some soda cans, and immediately God started tugging on my heart. That night as I was praying for God to give me some clarity in the situation, he gave me something even greater... a mission. God instilled this vision on my heart to collect cans from people in the community, and use the money to build a water well.
My first reaction was, "God, I'm not good enough to do this." And if we're being honest... I'm not. But guess what? God is!!! Nothing is impossible when the God of miracles is on our side. If God can turn water into wine, why cant he turn cans into clean water?
663 million people across the world do not have access to safe water. To put that into perspective, that is twice the population of the United States. Around 315,000 children under the age of 5 die every year from diseases caused by dirty water and poor sanitation. That's almost 900 children per day, or one child every 2 minutes. That just breaks my heart. That we can sit back in luxury and just watch these kids die, without doing anything about it. But guess what guys... YOU and I have the power to change that!
