Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.

This project started out as a desire to bring awareness to the Plymouth State University campus. We wanted out peers to understand the fact that people in our world struggle with something that comes so easily to us; getting clean water. Water is readily available to us here. We are able to turn on the faucet, open a bottle, or even go in the fridge. Not in Africa. The people in Africa have to walk 10+ miles a day for their water, and their water is not filtered. The water that they drink is filled with diseases. What is suppose to be a life source will transmit diseases and bring death to the people who drink it.

Knowing this, how could we just sit back?

On April 30, 2011, Plymouth State University will be holding a Walk 4 Water on campus. Our goal is to raise $3,800. This money will allow Global Benefit to restore a well and will help bring clean water to a village.
