Evan's Mitzvah Project: A Campaign for Water
Help Fund a Water Project
For my mitzvah project, I have decided to raise money for the 1 billion people in Africa without clean water. I recently read a book that opened my eyes to what we all take for granted. Many children have to suffer days, even weeks without clean water while we have it readily available by turning on the nearest faucet. Some young men and women don't have an education due to the miles they have to walk each day just to find dirty, unsafe water. This is why I hope you'll consider joining me to fund The Water Project.
Some of the efforts funded by The Water Project include digging and building wells, constructing rainwater harvesting systems, installing sand damns, and developing spring protection systems in countries such as Kenya, Uganda, and South Sudan. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
