I've challenged myself to start a fundraiser. After hours of comparing dozens of charities, I decided upon this one - The Water Project. Nothing is quite as essential to sustaining human life as clean water.

I know I'm not only speaking for myself when I say I have taken the ability to drink clean water for granted here in the US. I have running water at home, filtered water from my fridge, and all who have come over to my house know I maintain a solid month's supply of bottled water in my garage.

In many African communities, clean water access is a multi-mile journey. Let's help change that.

All of you who know me are also aware I'm very active in defending my home country, Israel, from slander and hate. We are a country with loving people and we have provided humanitarian aid all over the world, everywhere from the US, to Haiti, to Africa to the Philippines. I'd love to continue the trend here, which is why this is not "my" fundraising page, but "Friends of Israel's" fundraising page.

Here comes the hard part: I really hope you'll consider joining me to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.
