December is the month of my birthday.
As I am one of those obnoxious, eccentric, egocentric ones proud to disclose age at any time and always ready to seize any occasion to infuse the day with festivities and celebrate. The whole month, the whole week and the entire day. This year I have decided to give myself the gift of GIVING. And not to be that ambitious, I have decided to start with giving the most simple and necessary thing in life: WATER. Plain clean, safe, drinkable water. I know air is as needed and love too. Water doesn't come as easy. I just cannot think of child's life without being able to drink a glass of water. Just imagine waking up one morning, opening the faucet and nothing comes. That's when you realize you give it for granted. Would you help me accomplishing my dream? 'tis the season to celebrate and what better way than giving. Join me & Cecilia in believing in the miracle of receiving in giving. Let me wrap it before I sound like a preacher. You got the message. Set your goals, change the world. Ours will help 2 families, but just $23 will help a person. Watch The Water Project here: http://thewaterproject.org/about_us.phpDate | Donor | Amount | Message |

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
