As you know, Tony and I have been supporting The Water Project for over 11 years now. This year, as a tribute of my 50th birthday, I am raising funds for the Lunyelelia Primary School located In western Kenya. This is an elementary school with 141 students.

As you can see, these children have to take time out of school to walk to a community water source (which is contaminated) and then they have to carry heavy plastic containers back to school. These plastic containers are almost as heavy as these little children! Unfortunately, due to contamination, these children still get sick and miss school due to lack of clean water at their school. By funding this project, we will also be providing new latrines, hygiene & sanitation training, hand washing stations, and mobilizing the community.
