We are a second grade Girl Scout Brownie Troop in Kirkland, Washington. We have been focused on a Water Journey (Wonders of Water) this year. We have been learning about the importance of having access to clean water and how others are not as fortunate. We have learned that nearly 1 billion people suffer needlessly without access to safe water.
We will be participating in a Walk for Water to help raise money for The Water Project Organization. We also challenge you to take the H2O pledge: Drink only water for one week and donate the money you save from not buying other beverages to The Water Project.
ANY donation will help us make a difference!
Please support the Water Project to build wells, provide water, and save lives in other countries in need.
Thank You!
Sincerely, Abby, Alissa, Cady, Ellie, Emily, Hannah, Lorena, Meegan and Meredith.

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
