Today, too many suffer needlessly. We all need water and most in the developed world can access it by taking a few steps to the nearest sink. For OVER A BILLION people though it isn't that simple. Instead they find themselves walking miles for it gathering unsafe water from polluted ponds, streams and even puddles. To make it worse that water they labored to find often makes them sick from parasites. What choice do they have? That's where we can team up and help. Please make a donation to our 3 mile Walk for Water and then help me spread the word about it. Our group of about 80 HOPE World Wide volunteers from the Fox Valley Church of Christ will be taking the same journey that this Billion plus take nearly every day, to gather untreated water from the Fox River in Appleton, WI. Each year we carry over 200 gallons 1.5 miles back to our building where we use it to water the landscape an some of us even dare to take a sip. Our desire is to help a village in rural Africa who has never known a local, safe water source to be drinking safe and easily accessible water by the end of summer! We've done it before, help us do it again.
