Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

As students of an international school we were curious to see what types of problems children our age had to deal with around the world. We were completely blown away by all that we learned about the water crisis. The statistics are too staggering to ignore...One billion people lack access to clean, safe water in the world; every 15 seconds a child will die from a water related disease; 1,000 = the number of parasitic worms a child can carry in his or her body at a time due to a lack of clean water and sanitation.

We decided that we must become the agents of change in our building....and it is a title that we take very seriously. From penny wars, to button & candy sales, to planning a variety show there is nothing we won't do to reach our goal...but we know we need your help.

Please consider joining our teachers in The Water Challenge ~ instead of drinking a frappe, diet coke, or hot chocolate ~ try drinking water for just two weeks! It's free! Donate the money you would have spent on these speciality drinks to our project, One Drop at a Time instead! You will be amazed at how the savings add up. Or, if giving up your mocha lattes is too difficult in this chilly weather, we understand, just make a donation on this page instead. We won't be judging!

We know that something amazing is going to happen this year. We hope that you will join us and be a part of it. We are grateful for any help you are willing to give ~ BIG or small.

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
