Jen Cassidy's Marathon #5 for Clean Water
Help Fund a Water Project
God has given me both a passion for running and a passion for the people of Africa. I'm so thankful that God can use those passions to help bring clean water to so many communities where a glass of clean water is just not a reality.
This year will mark marathon #5 since this journey began in 2012. Every fall I pick a different marathon event to run and raise funds for clean water. So far I've run in Dallas, Texas; Baltimore, Maryland; Niagara Falls, Canada; and Seekonk, Massachussetts. This year, I will be running the Steamtown Marathon in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I can honestly say this is one of the most fulfilling things I have ever done in my life. It's hard work, but I really can do all things through Christ who continues to give me the strength to accomplish what only He can do through me. I am so grateful and thankful to be a part of this journey.
I would ask that you join me in this journey. God will take what you give and multiply it to bring about a new life for so many people in Africa!
Our last project funded a well in Kenya that supplied water to somewhere close to 500 people. That is amazing! We may not be able to change the entire world, but we can change the lives of so many with such a simple gift as clean water.
Matthew 10:42 reads, "And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is my disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward." Will you be a part of this important work God is doing in Africa?

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
