Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

The sixth grade students of Upton Middle School are a great group of kids. Recently we read Ryan and Jimmy and the Well in Africa that Brought Them Together. We then started discussing ways we could get involved and change the lives of others for the better.

I came across a quote from Albert Einstein that I shared with my students that reads - 'The world is a dangerous place, not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do NOTHING.'

We here at Upton want to make sure we are never just looking on.
The sidelines are not for us. We will be involved. Upton students strive to be 'in the game' making a positive impact.

And we are asking for your help.

Please join with us by helping to get our word out, taking part in the 'water challenge,' or making a financial contribution.

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,

Mr. Rommel and his 6th grade students

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
