Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.

Hi everyone, my name is Kaylor Smith and I am a junior in high school. Project Wishing Well began as an idea to help people that don’t have the simple luxuries that most of us take for granted, like clean water. I have always wanted to go to Africa someday and help the people face to face after reading and hearing stories from the ones who have to live there every day. The “fire” inside me started when I first heard a story about a small village that didn’t have a well. The women and young girls would go to the river several times a day just to have water, but it was filled with harmful disease. After doing much more research this “fire” is now brightly burning with a passion to help.

God has put this on my heart and I cannot wait to be able to see the wonderful impact this has on not only the people we will help, but the people that are the ones helping. When people help others, the biggest impact for me personally is truly being grateful for what I have, and I hope to spread that feeling to as many people as possible. Contaminated water is causing countless problems in these developing countries. Project Wishing Well can hopefully change that!
I genuinely hope you will pray about this and consider donating to Project Wishing Well, and I thank you for your support! In the future there will be different events to help raise money, so I will keep you updated! :)

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
