We hope you'll join us support the water project. With your support we will be able to provide, clean, safe and reliable water to communities in Africa. The citizens of Africa have to walk miles upon miles to get dirty, unsanitary water that causes sickness for their whole family. One out of five child deaths of children under five worldwide are a water-related disease. Young children are more likely to contract those fatal water-related diseases as a result of their weak immune systems.
In most situations, women are the ones who must retrieve the water. Most are under 15 and are no longer able to get a proper education because of this task. They have to walk for many hours every day under the red-hot sun and have no time to do anything else. Without them doing this harrowing task their family will soon die from dehydration.
Today, too many women and children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. Water is a basic need that everyone deserves the right to have. And yet not everyone has it. We can change that. We have the opportunity can change that. Help us spread the word and do whatever you can to help! We would appreciate it if you help us donate to the water project. It doesn't have to be big. Every penny helps. Together we can make a difference. Together we can help save someone's lives. Together we can help give people a basic need they deserve. We can do all of this together. One small step at a time.

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
