Help Fund a Water Project
Hi everyone!
I am so excited to start raising money for this amazing cause. I am doing this fundraiser as a part of my Capstone project for school but I chose my topic because I wanted to make a difference. So here it goes! Here in America we waste SO much water whether we realize it or not. I started thinking about this one day when I was in the car wash with my mom. We pay to get our car cleaned with gallons of water that could be used to quench the thirst of dying people in Africa. Therefore this is my attempt to make a change and bring people clean water. The money donated to this project will be directly used to help bring clean water to individual people and as well as their families. The next step would be building a water well for a whole village! I would really appreciate if you made a donation to this cause to help stop the Global Water Crisis and hopefully bring life to many people in Africa. I also hope you consider how much water you personally waste and be more considerate of your water usage. Feel free to look around The Water Project's website to learn more about how this money is used and how many people are suffering due to the lack of water in foreign countries. Thank you so much for your help and join me in reaching my goal. In less than 24 hours that this fundraiser has started, I reached my first goal of $1000. Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
