Help Fund a Water Project
Each morning you probably get up; take a shower, brush your teeth,
use the bathroom and have a tall glass or bottle of cold water! These are all
normal things we do in our everyday lives. But do you ever think about how
fortunate we are to have access to clean water?
Nearly 1 billion people do not have access to clean water. The
water the people in Africa are drinking is poisoning them and getting them very
ill. Children who want an education are robbed of the opportunity because
the water they have to drink is making them too sick to attend school.
My friends and I have come up with several ways to raise money for
The Water Project and we need your help! We are making bracelets which
include beads made in Africa and we are selling them for $8.00 each to raise
money for the people of Africa. We are also collecting empty water
bottles and recycling them.
What a
difference you could make if you purchased one of our bracelets or recycled
your water bottles and donated the money to the PQ Teens for Change Water Project

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
