Help Fund a Water Project

Together, we can unlock potential in a developing community by providing clean, safe water.
Fundraiser

Our kindergarten class has been exploring the world of Africa! They got curious about the culture and how people live and survive there. As we researched Africa together, we learned that to survive, people need food, water, air, and shelter. We saw pictures of the water that children and families are drinking in Africa. We also learned that a person has to walk nearly 8,000 steps to just get water, while here at school we walk only 11 steps to get water! Then, after they walk that far, they collect dirty and unsanitary water to take back to their families. We counted and recorded all the steps we took in 1 day, to see as a whole, if we could make it to 8,000 steps. We were not able to! The children were really surprised by that. We decided that we want to help!

We hope you'll consider joining our class to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to a community in Africa.

Today, too many children suffer needlessly - walking miles for dirty water that makes them sick. You and I can change that. Please make a donation and then help us spread the word!

Thank you!!

Miss Hilbert's Kindergartners!

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

About The Water Project

The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.

Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
