Help Fund a Water Project
I am fundraising to provide clean safe water to a community in Uganda.
Webster's dictionary defines water as the liquid that descends from the clouds as rain, forms streams, lakes and seas and is a major constituent to all living matter... That's true, what's even more true is that without water NONE of us would exist. Not only do we as human beings need water (to brush our teeth, bathe, cook, wash clothes, clean, and do much more) but so does every species of animals, plants and even the earth.
I, personally, take for granted that when I wake up every morning there will be hot and cold water gushing out of my faucets. Not everyone can say that. There are entire villages and towns in Africa where families (fathers, mothers and even children) have to wake up every morning, walk miles to and from their homes to get water for the day. And that water is often riddled with bacteria, feces, and other contaminants that make it dangerous to drink because they carry diseases such as malaria, dysentry, and other potentially deadly maladies.
So, with love, in partnership with The Water Project, I would like to raise the funds necessary to build a well, which will provide a village with clean safe water to drink, cook with and thrive. Please support me by generously donating to this worthy cause-Suggested donation is $25, however, more is welcome.

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
