Help Fund a Water Project
I decided to start this Project #abucketforafrica, inspired on the Ice Bucket Challenge for the ALS Association. There were so many critics about the "wasted" water that I though that these people that critiqued the Ice Bucket Challenge should actually do something to save some water on the planet and send it for those who needs it...
My project consists in challenging at least three people as follows: "Donate or Do not Shower today" The challenged person has to either: not shower that day, or take the shower and donate US$ 115 for the cause, and replicate the challenge to other three more people... This amount, will allow for a whole family to have clean water, or simply save some water... I hope we raise some money and create conscience about the real problem too!!! Hubo tantas criticas acerca del agua "desperdiciada", que pense que estas personas que tanto han criticado el Ice Bucket Challenge deberian en efecto hacer algo por salvar un poco de agua en el planeta y enviarla a aquellos que la necesitan My proyecto consiste en retar al menos a tres personas de la siguiente manera: "Donen o no se banen hoy!" La persona que ha sido retada debera: no banarse ese dia o banarse y donar US$ 115 por la causa, y replicar el reto a tres personas mas... Este monto permitira a una familia entera tener acceso a agua limpia.. o simplemente contribuira en conservar algo de agua... Espero que recaudemos dinero y ademas creemos conciencia sobre el problema real!!! Good luck everybody and thank you for your support.. Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
