Hi, We all like to enjoy water, when we are thirsty we just go to our water tap and pour a nice cold refreshing glass of clean filtered water. We can go pretty much anywhere and enjoy clean and extra filtered water. To most people in Africa, the water that they use is dirty, sometimes contaminated by either humans or animals, and this is what they have to use. Women and children have been the primary water collectors, and in turn, sometimes don't have time to boil the water. So they drink it at source. This in turns make many of them sick and they die. It also pulls the children out of school to go and fetch the water and boil it. Where these children would otherwise be in school learning.
Please make a change in the lives of many, your name will appear on the well, and you will be notified by email on the construction of the well, regardless of your donation amount.
We're digging wells in five countries in Africa. When you choose to
give where most needed, we'll match you to a specific project and show
you the results. You'll help with all of the project's expenses,
including operational costs. It's a vital role to play. Help dig
wells...give safe water today.

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
