Want a cup of water?
Just open your faucet and enjoy a natural resource that is two steps away from
your cozy couch.
BUT
How about people who have to walk 10.7 KM on foot just to get some water?
Not only to drink, but also bath, clean, or even farm with?
REMEMBER! Sometimes the water is contaminated and villagers have to
carry the water in buckets, over their head, back home!
Families and children in Nshili, a small village in Rwanda, suffer from shortages of
accessible clean water. It is a village where if you search on Google you won't
find much about. The reason for us to pick Nshili as an example is because we thought
the name was COOL!
Yet, when we sat down and dug deeper we realized that Rwandan community's
suffering comes from something we take for granted, Water.
Help Fundraising for villages such as Nshili and others means giving this one child an opportunity to live
beyond the five year expectancy life cycle where most African children die from
each year because of Diarrhea diseases.
As a group of students, we aimed for a small yet ambitious goal of $520
dollars.
We believe that people will like to pitch in and help.
A dollar WOULD make THE big difference.
so please help us!
Thank you!

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
