Each of us have our own struggles in life. And sometimes those struggles can seem overwhelming! But as the old saying goes, someone else has it worse. After reading the information available on The Water Project I quickly discovered how good we all have it! I don't know of anyone that has to walk for 3-4 hours a day just to collect water. And the water many of these people collect we would never even consider washing laundry in, let alone drinking! Just take some time to read some of the information on the site and you will see for yourself!
It's hard to even fathom living like this! Don't you agree? So let's work together and help! I can't write a check to fund a water project myself (oh how I wish I could!) and my guess is you can't either. But that doesn't mean we can't do it together!
A quarter a day could literally save lives! 32,000 quarters could fund a water project that would make such a dramatic difference in other people's lives. That sounds like a lot of quarters doesn't it? But really if you think about it that's a quarter a day ($7.50 total) for one month from 1,066 people! I spent more than that on lunch yesterday! Maybe we can spare two quarters a day ($15), and now we only need 533 people! If 267 people could contribute just four quarters a day ($30 for the month) we could fund a project TODAY!
Here's the rub - I don't know 267 or 533 people, let alone 1,066 people! But I know you, and you know people, and they know people, and so on. In the amount of time it takes to share a Facebook post or forward that funny cat video, you can help me spread the word about the Quarters of Change fundraiser! So please, make your donation and then spread the word!

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
