Privileged to Help

Hi, we're a group of 20 and 21 year old guys from Belfast, the principle behind our project is to add an extra challenge to your daily life for the entirety of November. The intention is to show solidarity with those in Africa that don't have access to clean water and hopefully help change that for a community. We're going to be using our Instagram page to hold ourselves accountable to our commitment.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic African-based charities really fell by the wayside as we all rushed to donate money to COVID relief funds. Whilst that's nice, it struck me that our governments have been spending billions on the response to COVID. Whilst this year has been hard and filled with loss for a lot of people it's important to count our blessings and remember that even something as simple as turning on the tap to clean our hands is a privilege we take for granted.
