My motto is: "From One Community to Another". In hopes to give a community in Africa the right to clean drinking water through our fundraising, hopefully New Albany can make a huge difference! The first fundraising event took take place on Peace Day/ Earth Day at NAHS, on Friday, April 27. I also partnered with Tina Lorek to create dream catcher bracelets over the summer of 2012, in which 50% of the proceeds went to this Water Project Fundraising Page. Due to NAHS's involvement with Paul Farmer and Hand in Hand with Haiti, though, our fundraising for water in Africa has been paused, in hopes to make a difference in Haiti's current situation. Please look for future fundraising events for Haiti in the next year at NAHS! Any donations to our Water Project fundraising page are GREATLY appreciated, but future fundraising for the NAHS Water Project fundraising page is paused until our community has successfully completed its goals for Hand in Hand with Haiti. Thank you for your donations and interests in helping another community in Africa!

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
