Running for Water that Empowers (WaterDrops of Hope)
Help Fund a Water Project
Why?!. That is the first thing I used to think when someone told me they wanted to run a marathon. Why would anyone ever want to put their body through 26.2 miles of pain?
Call me crazy, because I did what I thought I'd never do, I signed up for a marathon on November 8. Why? Well, I feel God placed it on my heart as a fundraiser for a need my heart so desperately beats for - a desire to bring clean water to every individual without. 26.2 miles will be hard, it will be painful... but not as painful as not having clean water.
Let's make a change together. Will you please consider joining me in changing people's lives through donating to my run? My goal is to raise $200 for each mile. While I run, I will be praying and thinking about the men and women who will benefit from all of our efforts.
Water empowers. Water liberates. Water unlocks potential.
I'm now switching my thoughts to "why not." Why not make a big difference in the lives of so many?

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
