**If you are making an online donation in the name of an SAS student, please be sure to enter your child's name so that we can make sure they receive their "water drop"**
After reading A Long Walk to Water by Linda Sue Park as a part of their Summer Reading Projects, the middle schoolers at Saint Andrew Catholic School felt compelled to take action and help children, like themselves, who are suffering around the world. After researching over 15 different organizations, the students chose to take action by fundraising for The Water Project.
Each day, millions of children suffer needlessly - they must walk miles for dirty water that makes them and their families sick. A disproportionate amount of women and young girls are affected by forgoing their education in order to walk to provide water for their families. By foregoing their education, they trap themselves in an endless cycle of extreme poverty.
We can change that! We hope you'll consider joining us to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe, and reliable water to a community in Africa.
Please consider making a donation and then help us spread the word.
