November 2010 Teen Gaming for Water Fundraiser
Help Fund a Water Project
As an environmentalist, anthropologist and homeschool educator, I understand well the relationship between water, culture, health and children. Without clean water, children are unable to thrive, whether that is implicated by nutrition, economics or academics, and those encumbered by diseases such as HIV are unable to be given the best chance at a normal life without proper hygiene and the water to sustain well-being.
My children have grown up learning the importance of water and the challenges that children in water-scarce countries face, children their age, who are not as fortunate in every way, and thus, we hope we can make a small difference in the lives of children across the globe from us but very near to our thoughts and hearts. -- Shannyn Snyder (Mother of Eden and Grace)

Why It Matters
Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
