I am fund-raising towards drilling a borehole and the construction water and sanitation facilities for the benefit of children and families around Obugi-nam Primary School in Kisumu County, Nyanza Province, Kenya. Over 300 pre-school to elementary school children at Obugi-nam Primary School, the village of parents' family, lack clean water and proper sanitation facilities at school. They face the same challenge at their homes. This situation significantly impacts their learning, their health and their prospects in life.
Providing accessible clean water and adequate sanitation will go a long way
in improving their life chances, educational outcomes and, in particular, uplift their community's morale.
The project will involve drilling water boreholes, installing water storage,
extending water access points for the community and installing modern and
adequate sanitation facilities in the school.
I have received encouragement from friends and family to start this project. I would like to appeal to all people of good to support this project and alleviate the suffering of hundreds of families that, today walk long distances in search of clean water. This is a worthy cause. I appeal for your help.

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
