The Water Project, Inc. is a non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing reliable water projects to communities in sub-Saharan Africa who suffer needlessly from a lack of access to clean water and proper sanitation.
At Saint Saviour High School, students are encouraged to contribute to the global community.
We hope you'll consider joining the Saint Saviour community to fund our Water Project. We will be selling $1.00 silicone bracelets which read "SSHS Water Project.” All proceeds will go directly towards helping the water crisis in our assigned sub-Saharan African community.
The Water Crisis
Globally, 1 in 9 people still have no access to clean water.
But in the community we hope to serve, it's 9 out of 9.
Children often bear the burden of walking miles each day to find water in streams and ponds, full of water-borne disease that is making them and their families sick.
Girls under the age of 15 are twice as likely as boys to be the family member responsible for fetching water. Providing a reliable and safe water source for these girls will unlock their potential by returning time for study, work, and imagination.
With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to those who need it most.
Please make a donation to help us meet our goal by clicking on the orange donate button and then spread the word by sharing this link with your family and friends.
To pursue a hopeful future, everyone needs water - every day.
You can provide it.
