On December 20, our sweet little Cora June Sargent is turning 2. Hard to believe! We are so thankful for her. And we are so thankful for you, partnering with us in raising her, teaching her, caring for her.
We, in a multitude of ways, are teaching Cora to be a generous, compassionate, and sharing person. Last year for her birthday in lieu of presents, we requested money for The Water Project, an organization that digs wells for communities in areas without clean water. You can read about it here - http://thewaterproject.org/community/projects/sierra-leone/well-repair-in-sierra-leone-594 Nearly $400 dollars was given. We are continuing the Gift-Away this year, again giving away the money for water wells. If you'd like to donate in honor of Cora and the people we will never meet, you can do so online or bring money to her birthday party. Thank you!Date | Donor | Amount | Message |

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?
Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!
Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.
The Water Project, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization unlocking human potential by providing clean, safe water to communities around the world who suffer needlessly without.
Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
Together, with our partners we identify, implement, report on and follow up on every project. Then we share the whole story with you to inspire confidence in the work being done and the impact it has.
