The CMH mermaid project

Water is the most precious substance in the world. If we didn't have water, we wouldn't have people. We wouldn't have plants or animals or friends or family. We owe our lives to making sure our water is safe and for everyone to share. After all, water connects us all. Litterally. It is the connection between North America and Australia, between Australia and Europe, it connects us as a human race.

As little girls, my best friend and I would play as if we were mermaids, searching the great ocean. We're all kind of like mermaids. We need water to survive.

This fundraiser means that everyone has a chance of getting the fresh water that they deserve, it can help raise the chance that some people will live. We might just be making little ripples in a big ocean, but if we all help we could turn little ripples into waves. Start swimming.
