Based on average annual rainfall, South Africa is the 30th driest country in the world. Over the last decade, nearly every region in Sub-Saharan Africa has experienced a form of drought and water shortage. In rural communities throughout Sub-Saharan Africa, millions of people suffer from a lack of access to clean, safe water. For school-aged children it's a burden that traps them in poverty. These effects are even more evident in the deeply impoverished regions of Sub-Saharan Africa.
As our MBA class prepares to embark on our Global Learning Experience in South Africa, we've become more aware of the challenges of water access across the continent. We ask that you join the MBA Class of 2020 team in helping make incremental progress to alleviating the suffering of those who do not have access to clean, safe water. Your contribution will go directly to communities that are suffering from a lack of access to clean water. Together, with your help, we can help make a deep and meaningful impact on the lives of those in need throughout Sub-Saharan Africa.
