My son inspired me to build another well in Africa. It struct me while we were brushing our teeth at night. I turned the faucet on and Maven blurted out Wawa, which of course means water in his baby language. One day, he will know the affect his word had on Daddy. At any rate, I couldn't imagine my lil man not having access to clean water. In 2008 I visited Kenya and during my stay I distributed water bottles to roughly 50 underprivileged children who suffer needlessly without clean water. I am now looking to make an even bigger impact on hundreds and thousands of lives by providing clean water for yet another African village. It's hard to believe that more often than not, the clean water a developing community desperately needs is right underneath them. And, it's amazing how a relatively small investment to get to it can make such dramatic difference in so many lives. $10 - One Person Clean Water for 10 yrs, $50 - Give a Family CleanWater, $250 - Water for a Classroom, $1,000 - Purchase a Well Pump $6,500 - Fund an Entire Project

Every week in Africa, millions of women and their children walk more than 12 miles just to get water for their families. Most of this water is contaminated, but it's the only water they have to drink. They are at risk of being stricken with diseases like bilharzia and schistosomiasis (parasites) - with every sip. There's nothing they can do to change it.

So, what can we do? build a well with your help and the help of others. 

Nobody can do everything, but everyone can do something.

We can not do it alone and hope you'll join us in helping them now. They need our help now more than ever!

Why It Matters

Access to clean, safe water unlocks potential

Did you know nearly 1 billion people don't have safe water to drink?

Together, we can change that. Let's fund a new source of drinking water for those who suffer needlessly without it!

Our gifts will be used to construct or rehabilitate a water project, like a well or sand dam, in Africa. We'll see pictures, GPS coordinates, and updates as they come in from the actual water project we fund so we can celebrate the results along with the community we help.

Working with local partners in countries like Kenya, Rwanda, Sierra Leone, South Sudan, and Uganda, we build long lasting water projects that are organized, owned and managed by the communities receiving them.
