Veronica's Campaign for Water

We started this fundraising page to honor our daughter, sister, aunt, and friend Sara Roby who passed away on November 8th, 2018.

Globally, 1 in 9 people still have no access to clean water. But in the communities that The Water Project serves, it's 9 out of 9. Water is a daily and crippling challenge. Without water you can't grow food, you can't build housing, you can't stay healthy, you can't stay in school and you can't keep working.

Girls under the age of 15 are twice as likely as boys to be the family member responsible for fetching water. Sara was a devoted aunt to her 9 nieces and nephews, but she held a special place for her 5 nieces, whom she impacted with her wisdom, and sometimes lectures, every day of their lives.
