As a follow up to the recent Newsletter, and as an updated, we have selected a project in Kenya – “Kanyoeni Community Hand Dug Well” – through The Water Project. This project has been exclusively reserved for AK Scouts & Guides Group Nairobi (1931 – 2003) Alumni and are pleased to inform you that we are in the process of collecting the necessary funds. This is your opportunity to participate and contribute towards meaningful endeavours. We welcome and appreciate your efforts and look forward to your participation to make this into a successful legacy program.
The project cost is estimated at US$13,000 and will commence in May 2022. We anticipate that by no later than April 2022 to have secured the necessary funding. At this stage, we request that you proceed to making the necessary donation of US$50, US$100 or more to enable us to meet our target. Your participation that is most important and one that will make the difference.
We hope you'll consider joining me to fund a water project. With your gifts and your help rallying support, we can provide clean, safe and reliable water to our selected a community in Kenya.
