The community members of Nsamya Nusaff used to suffer without a reliable, clean source of water.
"We used to collect water from open sources and springs, which would sometimes produce worms, especially during rainy seasons. This caused me stomach aches, and sometimes I would miss school, which affected my academic performance," said Reagan E., 13.
But things have changed for Reagan since a well was installed last year, providing him and other community members with water.
"Currently, this borehole is nearer, and [I] am able to collect water at any time I feel like. I have enough time to concentrate on other domestic activities while at home as compared to before.
"There has been a great improvement in my personal hygiene, and [I] am happy that I have been elected as a health prefect because [I] am one of the smartest always while at school," concluded Reagan.
