A Year Later: Only five minutes to collect water!

Kadiatu S., 17, recalled what life was like in the Magbansor Community before her community's well was rehabilitated last year.

"Before, I was struggling to get the quantity of water I needed for domestic purposes. Such as bathing, drinking, and cooking. I had to spend nearly the rest of the day just to get water for daily purposes," said Kadiatu.

Collecting water is now much quicker for Kadiatu and the other community members in Magbansor.

"This water point has impacted my life because I can fetch enough [water] to drink and use for domestic affairs. Also, the distance to this water point is about five minutes of walking time to fetch a round trip of water," continued Kadiatu.

Having ready access to water from the well has made a difference for Kadiatu, allowing her to collect water whenever she needs it without sacrificing the entirety of her day. Giving her the opportunity to accomplish other life-improving tasks.

"Everyone in this community happily thanks to you for this water point. Everyone in this community has achieved clean water to drink," concluded Kadiatu.
