"When the spring was unprotected, there was congestion as the water would get dirty; therefore, we had to wait for the water to clear, which took a lot of time."

"Now, the water is clean and we no longer have long queues. Fetching water is easy since it is accessible. Protection has reduced our constant coughs and sore throats."

"I use less time now collecting water, unlike before, which has helped me focus on other activities such as farming and attending to my children, which has improved our livelihood."
